Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This is one of the best places to eat in Bloomington. The food is great.. Many options to choose from. The helpings are huge. The staff is friendly and the place is beautiful and clean.

Waiting for waitress for just get us drinks took awhile but food was good and price and portion size of food—-surprisingly great!? But parking lot space is horrible. Person like me who is temporary walking limping leg and doesn’t have wheelchair plate had to park all the way back to all the way to front door was work!!!! Make me to think if dining out to Cheddar’s is worth it???!! Going out eat is harder than ever!!!!!!!☹️

The whole place was clean and setup really well. Fish tank is a real nice touch in bar area. Food was great and well priced. Enjoyed the special drinks. Staff was friendly and help full. Only down side is parking near the door.

Food and Service is always great. Our company lunches always go smoothly with no hiccups. Would definitely recommend Cheddars!

Food is good, not great, nothing I crave or must have when in Bloomington. Wife loves Cheddar's, personally I think they use too much salt in their food which takes away from the enjoyment. On the upside, it's one of the few restaurants that has Diet Dr. Pepper, and the service is great.

It's completely fine. I think it's overrated. Service has never been great (eaten there about 10 times) and the food is....fine. The fish tank is incredible!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! I have never had a bad experience here. It can get busy at times though, so be prepared for a wait if you go during peak hours.

Pretty good overall. The crescent rolls are delicious. The pot pie was ok. It needed some or more onion, garlic, and pepper. The crust was great but totally stuck to the sides so when I tried to get a hold of it, it just crumbled. My son got the chicken tender salad, which besides the chicken was just lettuce, carrots, and a bit of cheese. Not really worth the price but ok food and decent service.

The food was decent. It was not busy at all, empty tables as far as the eye could see. However as I’m trying to catch up with my IU student daughter the waitress constantly interrupted. No, if you see us still looking at the menu don’t ask every eight seconds if we’re ready to order. If you see us still picking at the nachos, don’t ask if you can clear them away for us. I even let her know that we’re going to be there for a little while catching up and she still kept trying to push us out the door. Definitely won’t be back to this location.

The staff was great! We came in last minute with 13 people and they got us seated took our orders and got everyone's correct! The food was very good and the bathrooms were clean.

Been a fan of Cheddar's for a couple of years now, & this location did not disappoint! Friendly server & excellent service! Atmosphere is always comforting. Had the blackened whitefish & it is some of the best fish I've had! What a huge pile of food for under $12! Really? Yes, really! 2 large fillets cooked perfectly, rice, french fries & a mound of well seasoned broccoli. Never could I eat it all, I have tomorrows lunch waiting. Way to go Cheddar's, can't wait to go back for that stack of hand cut onion rings!

Service was great. Food was a little ...well way over seasoned I love spicy but I could barely eat anything. It said nothing about seasoning so wasnt expecting it. Friends meal the menu said sauce on the side and gravy but all was on top of the meatloaf. MISTAKES HAPPEN SO WE WILL STILL COME BACK! I hope it's an even better experience when we do! Love our service though!

There food is amazing and truly made from great, fresh ingredients. The atmosphere and decor are to die for. It is quaint and cozy and very pretty. They even decorated for Halloween. They give you honey croissants before your meal that just fall apart in your mouth. They are truly amazing. Their prices are also very good, currently they run a lunch deal monday to friday where you can get a soup or salad and a meal for about 7 dollars. Their staff are also very nice and very attentive. It is a truly wonderful establishment.

That lighter side chicken dish is off the chain. Everytime I come here, I never need to add additional seasoning. It's always just the right amount, just the right flavor. Hats off to the chef. Come here to enjoy!

Food was far from scratch. Kids burgers looked like a sausage patties, steak was gross, Mac and cheese, tenders, and sauces all tasted off!! Only thing we enjoyed were the drinks, broccoli, and french fries. Save your money and eat at home.

This place was amazing. The waiters and waitresses were all super friendly and quick! Also, the food was delicious. Both me and my date got pasta and we both throughly enjoyed our dishes. Also prices weren't too bad either, pretty solid for the food quality 👍

Delicious steak. When they brought my meal I was told they were out of baked potatoes. Disappointing! Sounds petty but I was craving a baked potato. Had a great time though because we were celebrating my sister's birthday 🎂.

The 6 oz sirloin looks like a steak nugget, the steak, shrimp and chicken ordered though not burnt looking has a burnt flavor like the grill needs a serious cleaning. 2 stars because our server did a decent job. The food however did not even deserve a 1 star

My boss and I attempted to plan out a strategy to get a smaller version of this into the house we're renovating... Long story short.. Ain't gonna happen! The waiter was devastatingly handsome. Passed off my number.. It was worth a shot 😂😅😂

Dined at Chedders on New Years Day, was very good, nice atmosphere, I got grilled fish\with bed of rice, Italian green beans, Cole slaw, peach ice tea,, my fiancee got a rib eye steak,Smothered in onions, baked potato, corn, peach ice tea, of course got their delicious croissant rolls, will go back,

Always a dependable place for good food. Cheddar's has a wide variety of things to choose from. From salads to steak to dessert we have always had great experiences at Cheddar's.

Burger was great, wait staff was very void. Fries were ok.

Food was very bland I had the Ribeye steak (no seasoning or flavor) and a half rack of ribs and again nothing special but I will say both were cooked perfectly. My wife had the blackened salmon that was missing the whole blackened part lol. The worst part and reason I will not ever return is on valentine's day every 30 seconds during your meal wile your trying to have a conversation with your loved ones a host screams names over the intercom system for people waiting on seats. How dumb do you have to be to not know this ruins the customer experience??

Great pricing, good service but the food is not good. My chicken entree was undercooked and my son's hamburger tasted like it was rancid. The manager did comp my meal but we will never return to Cheddar's.

I’m not a big fan of chains BUT, this Chedders in Bloomington consistently has fast service. Good menu Chang-ups & specials. Menu contains a good number of comfort-fried options but also a good number of healthy options. My only minor nit is the portions are on the large side. If your there I highly recommend the bacon-wrapped shrimp! Bonus: Has a pokemon-Go poke-stop for the kids!

Atmosphere is everything here! Beautiful interior. From the large fish tank, to the unique ceiling fans. You'll love the upscale feel.

This place has a warm atmosphere and it's very cozy. Great Service! Our Server checked in on us and took very good care of us. Very clean restrooms. The Salad and Potatoe soup was excellent! She had a Beautiful smile!

I never leave this place hungry. Decent appetizers, friendly staff, and a large restaurant that i never have to wait long to be seated in. Our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. My only gripe was the choice of bun for my Philly, it fell apart under the weight of the ingredients. Other than that i would highly recommend this place.

Amazing!! I love the fan. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive. The food was above and beyond expectations considering the price! Lunch specials are definitely worth a trip.

Croissants were decent, if you get the Alfredo chicken, be sure the carrots are done, mine were a little on the raw side

This was the one in Florence KY. We were leaving and the girl was cleaning the windows and the spray she sprayed went in my eyes and after I sat down in pain my daughter had to tell her to get a manager and the manager came and gave me some eye drops to flush it out. The girl never apologized and I had to ask for a incident report to be made.

Very unique interior with good food that is a little pricey.
